On the evening of July 3, 2024, Ann Gillebrand Magas passed away peacefully, with her dear husband, Mafety Magas by her side. Ann is the daughter of Jean Moir and Clifford B. Gillebrand (both deceased). She leaves behind her daughter, Dawn Muir and partner Patrick Cadieux, Maf's son, Mathieu Magas and partner Karine Provost, and grandchildren, Ashley Cadieux, Emaley Cadieux, Noemi Magas, and William Magas.

She also leaves her beloved congregation of Lakeshore Trinity United Church, many friends, and the rescue animal community.

Ann’s drive to live each moment of her life fully and completely, and with love, lives on as inspiration to us all.

A memorial service in her honour will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Lakeshore Trinity United Church, 98 Aurora, Pointe Claire, QC. Visitation will begin at 2 PM, with the service to follow at 3 PM.
