It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Argyrios Hliaras. He passed away peacefully at the Lakeshore General Hospital on August 2sd, 2024.
He leaves in mourning his children, Constantine, Bobby and Helen, his grandchildren Antonia, Elpinikei and Argiri (Ruby) as well as his extended family both in Canada and Greece and his many friends.
Visitation will take place at Actuel Funeral Home, on Friday August 9th, 2024, from 5pm to 9pm.
There will be a church service on Saturday August 10th, 2024, at 11am at St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church, 7707 Bd LaSalle, LaSalle, QC H8P 1Y5.
A burial will follow at 1pm at Notre-Dame-de-l'Espérance cemetery, 1759 Antoine Dalmas, Laval H7y 2A8.

Dear Costa, Bobby and Helen, We were deeply, deeply saddened to hear of your profound loss. Kurio Argyri was the best story teller and the funniest!! May God’s mercy give you solace knowing that your sweet dad was surrounded by his loved ones when God called him home. I think you will discover that time does not “heal”, there will always be an emptiness in your heart, however time will help you adjust, and the pain will gradually ebb. The key is to focus on and retain the good memories you had with this incredible powerhouse, you called baba. Surround yourselves with good friends; find strength in their hugs and support. Costa, Bobby & Helen, I am so sorry for the passing of your dad. I had the pleasure of having interesting conversations with him during his stay at Residences Valeo. He always made me laugh and I will remember him walking the halls in his scarf and hat. He was a character. May your memories help you in your healing process and may he rest in eternal peace.
