Died on June 23, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a legacy of integrity and dedication to uplifting those around him.

 

He is survived by his devoted wife, Ines; his daughters, Sonia (Darrell Scholte) and Julia; and his cherished grandchildren, Sebastian and Evie. A beloved eldest brother, he is deeply mourned by his siblings: Nicholas (Susana), Penella (Peter Bingham), Andrew (Anne) and Brian (Camille), as well as by his extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins, to whom he was profoundly devoted.

 

A memorial service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, Montreal, on Friday, July 4 at 2:00 p.m., followed by a reception.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Centre Greene (centregreene.org), a community centre where he volunteered for many years with generosity and quiet dedication.

 

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
