Curtis William Jenkerson, born on April 26, 1946, in Waterloo, Quebec, passed away peacefully on his 79th birthday, April 26, 2025. At the time of his passing, Curtis resided in West Island, Quebec leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and devotion.

Curtis was a man of music, with a deep appreciation for melodies and lyrics spanning decades. His knowledge of artists and songs, especially from the sixties, was unparalleled, and he often shared this passion with those around him. His love for music was matched by his love for humor; Curtis had a natural ability to make others laugh, brightening even the dullest of days.

A moderately religious man, Curtis found solace and community within Christianity. He was an active participant in the Alpha group at his church, where he cultivated a small, yet meaningful circle of friends. Known for his gentle spirit, Curtis was always polite and generous, with a smile that will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Curtis is survived by his beloved sister, Gladys, brother Ollie, sister Joy, four nieces, five nephews, twenty grandnieces and grandnephews, and a great grandniece who will deeply feel his absence. Curtis was preceded in death by his beloved father, Charles Ollie Jenkerson, mother Gladys Barnes Jenkerson and sister Della Mae Guthrie.

A funeral service to celebrate Curtis's life will be held at Westview Bible Church, located at 16789 Pierrefonds Blvd, Pierrefonds, QC H9H 4T3 on June 14, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:30 pm.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Westview Bible Church at the same address.
