C’est avec grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Denis Fafard, survenu le 10 mai 2024, à l’âge de 68 ans, à l’hôpital de Verdun.
Né le 11 janvier 1956, à Montréal, il était le fils de feu Louis E. Fafard et de feu Rita Filiatrault.
Il laisse dans le deuil sa sœur Carole (Alain Dubois), ses filleules Ani-Li, Marie-Qian et Fannie, son neveu Carl (Jacynthe). , sa belle-sœur Francine (feu Michel Fafard), sa tante Claudette Filiatrault, ainsi que ses cousines Marie-Josée et Julie et son amie Hélène.
La famille tient à remercier sincèrement tous les membres de l’équipe des soins palliatifs de l’hôpital de Verdun pour leur grande compassion et leur soutien.
À la demande du défunt, les cendres seront inhumées au Cimetière Catholique de Lachine, à une date ultérieure, sans cérémonie.

I worked for Denis in the pilot plant at Ayerst labs...now Pfizer. He was an amazing man! So smart and thoutful. I'm truly saddened and shocked to hear about his passing.
Mes sympathie a la familles. Denis était pour moi un ami du secondaire il m'appelait Fido et de plus je suis le responsable de son entrée chez Ayerst devenu Wyeth et finalement Pfizer. J'ai visitez Denis a st-anicet a quelque reprise et il a toujours été très accueillent. Merci Denis d'avoir fait parti de ma vie ont se revoit surement a quelque part salut mon chum.
