It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyn Gaumond (Chicoine), 86 years old, on September 11, 2023. She died peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital with her son John by her side.

She was predeceased by her husband, the late Georges Gaumond. She is survived by her daughters Eveline, Rose, Fern & Annie, her sons Perry, John & Jason. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit at the RVH for the care and comfort provided during her hospital stay.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate if donations could be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association.

A service will take place at Actuel Funeral Home on September the 24th between 1 pm and 5 pm.
