Mum crossed the Atlantic by ship from London to Canada in 1957 at the young age of 25 with two small children. She settled in LaSalle Quebec where she raised her large beautiful family and lived the rest of her life.
Her outgoing, warm, friendly and caring personality led her to develop and extensive circle of deep friendships that lasted a lifetime for both herself and her family.
Mum was very active in her Christian faith and community. She loved to share her faith through conversation, being part of the church baptismal team, prayer groups, church services and catholic family camps.
She worked on may projects throughout her life, organising bike-a-thons to raise funds to help repair the church roof, planting trees in our community and directing Christmas and school plays, always wanting to create and better the community.
Her Catholic faith was always the pillar of her life, leading her down paths of deep caring and love that touched so many lives. Her constant strength of spirit was the foundation of our family. She'll be greatly missed and remain forever in our hearts.
