After a well-lived life cut too short, Jennifer passed away suddenly at the age of 54. Beloved wife of 23 years to Laurie B. A fiercely protective and loving mother who was adored by her boys Zachary and Reid. Devoted daughter to Arlene S. and the late Robert S. Jennifer also leaves behind her brothers Jason (Stacey) and Corey (Debbie), nieces Hailey and Keira and nephew Parker. A cousin, friend and confidante to so many, her ability to move through this world with kindness, sensitivity and generosity was marveled by all who knew her.
Born in Montreal and raised in Chateauguay, Jen graduated from Billings High School. After a few years of working in the business sector, the desire to help others took her back to school where she graduated from Dawson College with a degree in Social Science. Before the ink could dry on her diploma, Jen took a position with the Miriam Home, where she worked for many years helping adults with special needs to reach their potential. After her dream of becoming a mother became a reality, Jennifer settled back in Chateauguay and dedicated her life to raising her two boys. The need to be of service to others in her community never left her. She spear-headed countless fundraising efforts to support local families going through hardships; most notably, The Chateauguay Christmas Angels. Founded by Jennifer in 2010, this local, non-profit group organized a multitude of community events including Christmas carnivals, auctions and raffles in order to raise funds for at-risk families. Over the course of 7 years, the Angels raised tens of thousands of dollars and helped hundreds of families who were struggling over the holidays. From toys and stockings to grocery gift cards, Jen always made sure the Angels were able to help more and more families each year.
Despite her numerous professional and charitable distinctions, Jen always maintained that her children were her greatest achievement. We maintain that Jennifer is, and will always be, our Angel. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Plans for a celebration of Jennifer’s life will be communicated to friends and family in the near future.
The family kindly asks that in lieu of sending flowers, please make a donation in Jennifer’s name to the Chateauguay Food bank.

Les condoléances à la famille
It is often hard to find the right words at a time like this. I am thinking of you and your family and sending caring thoughts your way to support you through this. May you find peace, comfort, and all the love you need in the days to come.
I still remember the first day we met, at Billings High School and how we instantly clicked. It was as if we were meant to be friends all along. Over the years, we grew and changed, but our bond only grew stronger. You had seen me at my best and my worst, and I have seen you at yours, and through it all, our friendship remained steadfast. Though we were miles apart when life at times was unpredictable, and we weren't always be able to stay in touch as frequently as we would like, you always held a special place in my heart. You are a part of my story, and I am grateful for every moment we spent together. I will cherish the memories we made, and I will never forget the impact you have had on my life. and I will always look back on our friendship with fondness. Your life was one of selflessness and love. You will always be remembered for your courage and strength, your unwavering spirit and passion, your generous heart. Your life was a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing you. I am deeply saddened by your loss, but grateful for the time we had together. I am better for knowing you, better for loving you, better for having met you. May you be as blessed in the next life, my friend, as I was in this one by knowing you.
