It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joanne Smith from ALS.
Joanne was born in Montreal to Ruth Powers and Hugh Smith, both deceased, She was a long time employee of Bell Canada and volunteered for many years with AMI-Quebec.
Joanne leaves behind her loving spouse Gordon Goulin, cherished sisters Patsy Smith (Robert Forest) of Edmonton, Alberta, Cathy Smith (Rick Pytlarz) of Nelson, B.C., nephews Daniel (Melanie) and Ryley (Paisley) Churchill, and grandnephews Ethan and Oliver Churchill of Calgary, Alberta.
She also leaves her Windsor, ON family: Steve Goulin, Ben Goulin (Rukshini) (Brandon), Rushika Ponniah, Candace Goulin (Blake), Connie Farmer.
Nancy and Matt Moldovan, Melisa Farmer, Carter Masse, Lily Masse, Deb Goulin, Laura Perez (Daniel), Wyatt Perez, Ashley Marskell, Daniel Marskell and dear friends Walter and Deanna Ponniah.
She also leaves behind her lifelong friends Ingrid Cameron and Fran McBurnie - Seeberger (Rudi), Fran's sister Deborah Viglione (Romano), Fran's nieces Kim Nicol - Barkley (Will and Pyper Barkley), and Shelly Nicol (Ray), friend Bert Kuhle, and beloved cousins Sue Caughey (Mike), Mary Andrews (Dave), and David Townsend.
A special thank you goes to Monika Tsang and all her fellow Bible study travelers whose love and prayers were such a support these past months.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at

A reception will follow the service at the Parish and will be hosted by the Bible Study Group and the Angels of Mercy.
