It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Johanne Labillois Turcotte at the age of 69. She leaves in mourning her son Raymond Turcotte (Tania), her one and only grand-daughter Anita Jade Turcotte, her sister Diane Ryan (the late Larry), her brother Eugene Labillois (Nicole), Her best friend Faye Rourke-Frew (Jimmy), her niece Lynn Mandeville (Sylvain), and so many beloved friends, and family.
A big thank you to all the wonderful staff members at both St Mary’s Hospital, and Centre D’hébergement Champlain for taking the utmost care of Johanne during the last few weeks of her life.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of sending flowers, donations to either BGC Dawson (community Centre) or your local library would be appreciated, as Johanne was an avid book lover.

Les condoléances à la famille
Dear Raymond and to all the Labillois family, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Johanne. Johanne was a great lady that I was privileged to have encountered in my life. She will be deeply missed and remembered always. May she rest in peace.
Johanne complimented me once on my shortbread cookies but no one could bake like Johanne. She measured each cookie, cupcake and God forbid that even one was out of line. A hard act to follow. You will be missed my friend. Rest in peace and don’t worry, Diane I will be safe with us.
Dear Johanne, your smile and laughter will remain in my mind forever. May the heritage of the numerous fond memories she leaves behind bring comfort to her bereaved family and friends.
I will miss my wonderful friend. My family sends your family our deepest sympathies during this very difficult time. We shared many milestones and family gatherings. Johanne spoke so lovingly about her brothers Eugene and Raymond, as well as her sisters Diane and Eileen. Her son Raymond completed her life, she loved him dearly. She loved her nieces and nephews, but there was a special place in her heart for Jade, her only granddaughter. Jade was her "pick me up". Until we meet again my sweet friend, I will hold all our memories close to my heart. We sure had a fun ride together, at times with some very memorable belly laughs! Love you Jo xoxo
Our deepest sympathies to Diane and family. Thank you for the good times and many fun memories. You were a special lady. RIP JoJo
