Dans la matinée du 4 avril 2025, Marcel St-Gelais a quitté ce monde terrestre pour danser parmi les étoiles. Né le 7 juillet 1944, sa vie fut une symphonie de moments joyeux, de défis surmontés et d’amour incommensurable.
Il est décédé à l'Hôpital du Suroît, de Salaberry-de-Valleyfield à l'âge de 80 ans, entouré de l’amour des siens, son épouse Thérèse Bonhomme, ses enfants Daniel et Chantale, ses petits-enfants Zacharie, Miguel, Olivia, sa belle-fille Marie-Mélissa et sa nièce Jeanne
Marcel est mort dans la tranquillité comme il a vécu, il était calme et solitaire.
On se souviendra toujours de Marcel en prenant une bonne bière.
Selon son souhait, les cendres seront mises en terre sur le terrain familial à Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges.
