We regret to announce the passing of Marian "Mayh" Pine, on the evening of October 7th, 2023, after a brief illness.
Marian is predeceased by her twin sister Jo-Ann, her brother Danny, her sister Linda, and her dear parents Maureen Doyle and George Pine Sr. She leaves to mourn her sister Patricia and brothers Steven (Patricia) and George Jr. (Anna), along with many loving nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family.
Marian will also be missed by the members of Lakeshore Players and by the congregants of Dorval Strathmore and St. Willibrord’s Parish. Marian had a deep love of storytelling, cinema, the theatre, and of course, a deep love of family. The many communities to which she belonged were so important to her, and we will all remember her special way of telling stories.
Our family would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the ER and ICU staff at the Verdun General Hospital, who took excellent care of Marian during her final days. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 26th, from 5pm to 9pm at Services funéraires Actuel, for any who wish to attend.

My deepest condollences to Patrica, Stephen and George. I'm so sorry to hear of Marian's passing as I was not aware of her final illness. May all your memories comfort you during this sad time.. Maureen Coote
Hi Patricia, Steven, George, extended families and all of our cousins. We are very saddened to hear about Marian. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Marian and the rest of the Pines were such a huge part of our early lives. Whether it be Christmas or a family BBQ on 2nd Ave, Gordon Ave or 6th ave., the house was always will with Pines, Ryders, Brays, Nantels and more. Everyone was always welcome. Hard to believe that we could pack so many people is to such small places. Great memories though. Our Mums were pretty much interchangeable for such a long. Each had a slipper that could find you the second you did anything wrong. Again, another great memory....now! I wish I could attend Marian's reception on October 26th, but unfortunately, I cannot. I do hope that we can see you all sometime soon. Take care. Lots of love. Keith Ryder and family.

I am heart broken. I loved Marian. She was always a friend. Always sweet. She touched so many people. And she always laughed at my dumb jokes. Rowan and I are going to miss her. Very much. Sue
