It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patrice Labrecque, who left us on November 2nd, 2025, at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM). He was 71 years old.
Born in Cascapédia–Saint-Jules, Québec, on March 14th, 1954, Patrice lived a life marked by heart, resilience, and quiet generosity. His steady presence was a source of strength, comfort, and unwavering support for all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Patrice is lovingly remembered by his beloved partner, Colette and his devoted children, Patrick (Tammy) and Carlo (Jessica). He also leaves behind his many cherished siblings: Claudette, Hermance, Lilianne, Marcel, Denise, Angella, Janine, Caroline, Claude, Patricia, and Christine.
His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren—Britney(Gab), Cameron, Zackary, Tyler, Hunter, Jackson, Ryder,and Lane—and through his precious great-grandchildren, McKenzie and McKayla, who brought him immeasurable joy.
Patrice will be remembered for his warm spirit, his deep love for his family, and the kindness he shared so generously throughout his life. His memory will live forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
A service in his honour will be held on December 13th, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 4500 rue de Verdun, Montréal, QC, H4G 1M3.
