It is with great sadness and much love that we announce the death of our mother and friend Patricia Mary Cater who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 69.
She is survived by: her children, Corinne (Joseph) and Jennifer( Michael) her grandchildren, Samantha, Joel and Jaxon, her great grandchildren Mason and Olivia, and all her brothers and sisters.
A celebration of life will take place at Actuel, 4500 de Verdun St. on Saturday, October 21st between 1pm and 3pm followed by a reception between 3pm and 5pm.

We had the privilege to have our beloved Pat as caretaker in our home for over twenty years. She help me raise our three boys, Hugo, Maxime and Vincent, who adored her, allowing me to work and travel with my husband. Pat had a heart of gold and worked very hard. When we found out she was sick, I was so sad thinking she so deserved to rest and have a peaceful retirement..but would Pat ever stop taking care of others? I don’t think so..we have so many beautiful and funny memories with her. She will be cherished forever. All our heartfelt condolences to Corinne and Jennifer and her extended family. She loved you all very much ❤️

I miss you Pat. I loved our conversations we had every day. You made me laugh, you made me shed a tear or two, and most importantly, I was proud how much you loved your girls so much. Your smile was so genuine when you spoke of them. I hope the 1st person you hugged was George when you got there, and for God sakes, steal that gator and go for that joy ride we complemented doing together. I miss you. Tracy

Pat was a wonderful person, with a kind heart and a beautiful soul. My sincerest condolences go out to Corrine and Jen as well as to all her brothers and sisters. I still cannot believe that life can change in a heart beat. Pat would of given the shirt off her back if needed, I should know for all that she has done for me. with love and respect i am sending love to all of you
Where to begin? First and foremost your mother was full of life!!!! She kind of reminded me of myself in some ways lol wild, crazy and young at heart for life!!!! Like myself she had battles to fight in her life… but she loved her family especially her two beautiful daughters!!! Which I saw, she was so very proud of, with good reason!!!! Although I didn’t know her well… my best memory of Patricia is at Jenny’s 40th birthday gathering , where we danced and your mother was right there with us having a blast in the living room dancing to Justin Timberlake and singing along to the words!!!! She was the cool mom that kids are embarrassed to have around lol like I am to my son probably today lol! I don’t want to say time heals cause that’s bull crap! I still hear a song on the radio that reminds me of my father now and again and I cry like a baby!!!! All I can say is focus on the good times you had together and this will put a smile on your face! My father wasn’t perfect… but I don’t dwell on that! So remember the laughters and good times you’ve shared! And grow from the lessons learned xxxx I will be there along the way to give you a hug and wipe your tears! Always and forever your friend Natasha Theoret xxxx
