It is with great sadness that we remember Robert Louis Shacket, whose spirit departed our earthly world peacefully at his home on August 8, 2024 in his 90th year.
The gentlest and kindest of souls, he left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He is loved and missed by his children David Shacket and Tania Minuk, his son-in-law Jeff Minuk, his two grandchildren Alex Minuk and Erin Minuk, and cousin Brahm Gallay.
A special hug goes out from the family to Nancy who made his last few months both pleasant and comfortable. At the request of Robert, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

Robert was perhaps the loveliest person I ever met. His smile was so infectious. My fondest memory of him was when he was the Santa Clause at a One Parent Family Christmas Party some 45 years ago. Who knew that Santa was Jewish? My sincere condolences to his family. We were all blessed to have had him in our lives.
