It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Rose Gaumond at the age of 66, on August 2, 2025, at the Maison Sault Saint Louis in Lasalle, QC.

 

She is predeceased by her parents Georges (Charles) Gaumond and Evelyn Chicoine.

 

She leaves behind her son Isaac Leggo; her sisters Eveline, Fern and Annie; her brothers Perry, John and Jason; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

 

We want to say a special thank you to the entire staff at the Maison Sault Saint Louis for the excellent care they gave our sister in the last few days of her life. We can only hope that she knows, she deserved it.

 

“Celebration of Life” will take place at the Services Funéraires Actuel, 4500 Rue de Verdun, Verdun, QC H4G 1M3. Visitation on Sunday August 31, 2025, from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Coffee will be served.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to any organization supporting cancer research.
