It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Valerie Desautels (née Lugossy), who left us May 15, 2024 after a beautiful life full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Roger Desautels, children Adrienne (Russell) and Jason, grandchildren Quinntrell and Declan, her sisters Bette (Dennis) and Sharon (Steve), brother Bob (Denise), extended family and countless friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Joseph Lugossy and Agnes Simms, brothers David and Joseph Lugossy, brother-in-laws Raymond and Louis Desautels and godson Paul Desautels.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Center in her name would be appreciated, the level of care and comfort she received was incredible. (click here)
We will be hosting a celebration life July 7th, 2024 at La Vielle Brasserie Dawes 2801 Saint-Joseph Blvd, Lachine QC H8S 4B7 from 13:00-16:00.

Nos sincères condoléances à toute la famille. Valerie était une femme exceptionnelle que nous avons eu le privilège de connaître au lac Harrington. Elle ne nous laisse que de beaux et bons souvenirs.
