It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we mournfully announce that Richard James Elliott passed away suddenly in Montreal on December 26th, 2023 at the age of 49 years.
Richard grew up in Belleville, Ontario, where he finished his schooling, graduating from Loyalist College in 2000. Growing up in Belleville, he spent many a day skateboarding with his friends - he was known as one of the best.
We will remember Richard as a kind and gentle soul who had a passion for music and motorsports. Richard was brilliant with technology and computers and it showed in his work, as well as with his own equipment. With his skills and education in computer technology, he was able to travel all over the world. He enjoyed helping others, whether it was related to computers, tech or someone who just wanted a friend to talk with. He had a unique sense of humour that would make anyone laugh.
Richard is survived by his parents, Lynda and Maurice Elliott, who loved and miss him deeply. Also he will be missed by his sisters: Katherine (Chris), Natasha (Derrick), nephew and niece Milo and Daphne. Richard also leaves behind a loving family abroad and many long time friends from his childhood and travels with work over the years.
He is preceded by his grandparents - Len and Dora Elliott and Irene Kay all of England.
Richard will be forever in our hearts.
