It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Adolfo Di Benedetto, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 1, 2026, at the age of 67.
He was the beloved son of his late parents, Antonio and Giovanna. He was the beloved brother of Raffaella (Oreste), Giuseppe (Lynda), and Angelo (Wendy). He was the cherished uncle of Silvio, Antonio, and Jessica, and a proud great-uncle to Matteo, Sofia, Leonardo, Isabella, Valentina, and Luca. He also leaves behind many extended family members, dear friends, neighbours, and fellow volunteers who will miss him deeply.
Born on January 24, 1959, Adolfo will be remembered for his generous heart, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family, friends, and community. Though his passing was unexpected, the love he shared and the lives he touched will remain his lasting legacy.
Adolfo was a man of exceptional kindness and selflessness, dedicating countless hours to volunteering and always offering a helping hand to anyone in need. He found great joy in gardening, lovingly caring for flowers and plants with the same patience, compassion, and attention that he extended to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His gentle spirit and humble nature left a lasting impression on all whose lives he touched.
Adolfo's legacy is one of compassion, generosity, and unconditional love. He will forever be remembered for his willingness to serve others, his gentle smile, his love of nature, and the countless acts of kindness that enriched the lives of those around him. Although he is no longer with us, his memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at Paroisse Saint John Brebeuf Parish, 7777 George Street, LaSalle, QC H8P 1C8, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following the visitation at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Paroisse Saint John Brebeuf Parish.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their love, prayers, support, and condolences during this difficult time. Your kindness and compassion have brought great comfort and are deeply appreciated.
