It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Griffin, on April 18th, at the age of 68.
Barbara grew up in a large, loving family of eight siblings and carried on that legacy by building a family of her own. She was a devoted wife to her husband Steve and a loving mother to her four children: David, Stephanie(Taylor), Robert(Amanda), and Kimberly(Vincent).
She will be remembered for her warmth, caring nature, and creative spirit, often expressed through her love of baking, especially the beautiful cakes she made for family, friends, and her community. A devoted Habs fan, she never missed a chance to cheer on her beloved Canadiens — Go Habs Go!
She always placed the needs of others before her own, always looked for the good in every situation, always encouraged her family, and never complained right up to her passing.
At the family's request, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to the Cedars Cancer Foundation, or an easy-care living houseplant may be sent, mailing details available at the email address below.
