It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shemica Alicia Gardener-Lee, who passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the age of 34.

Shemica will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Ann-Marie Gardener and Robin Lee; her beloved daughter, Jada; her brothers, Robin, Khiry, Anton, and Kyeon-Dre; and her grandparents, Sheila Lee, Valerie Fuller, and Vincent Gardener (deceased).

She will also be deeply missed by her many aunts and uncles, especially her uncle Johnny Lee and Linda McCallum; her three nieces and two nephews; as well as all her cousins, extended family members, and friends of the Gardener and Lee families.

Her strength, love, and presence will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

The visitation will take place at the Actuel Funeral Home (4500 Rue de Verdun) on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Union United Church, located at 3007 Rue Delisle, Montréal.
