It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the passing of George Hepburn on Friday, May 10, 2024 at the age of 87. He departed peacefully at Verdun Hospital with family and friends by his side. Born to the late Ellen Nellie Marren and George Hepburn Sr. Loving brother to Margaret Daigle (Jimmy), the late Sheila Mastro (Johnny), and the late Doreen McIlwaine (Norman). He also leaves to mourn nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

George is known for his proud Irish descent, zest for life, and legendary sense of humour. His departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.

A mass will be held Tuesday, May 21, at 11:00 a.m. at St John Brebeuf Church, in LaSalle. A reception will follow.

Thank you to the staff at Verdun Hospital. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to his compassionate friend, Mark Hayter and nephew, Michael McIlwaine for their care and support, as well as their genuine love and friendship that George often spoke of.
