C’est avec regret que nous annonçons le décès de Hubert Emond survenu paisiblement au CHUM à Montréal le 29 mai à l’âge de 81 ans.
Il était l’époux de Andrée Marchand. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Patrick (Marie-Claude Martel) et Julie (Sébastien Duquette) et ses petits-enfants Marie-Renée, François et Vincent.
Il laisse également dans le deuil son frère Gilbert et sa sœur Yvette, beaux-frères et belles-soeurs, neveux et nièces ainsi que de très chers amis.
Né au Manitoba il est arrivé au Québec en 1966 pour y travailler après sa formation de chimiste à l’Université du Manitoba. Il était connu pour sa générosité, sa capacité d’écoute, sa grande patience et sa soif d’apprendre.
M. Emond demeurait à Varennes.
Les rituels funéraires auront lieu dans l’intimité de sa famille.
