It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of John “JB” Robert Bellini, on October 22, 2024, at the age of 59. Just 3 weeks shy of his 60th birthday.
Son of the late John Bellini and Brenda Holdbrook. John left behind Delfina and their three children, Alexis, Matthew, and Michael, who meant everything to him. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie (Joe), and brother, Derek (Allison) and their children (Siena and Isabella), who he loved full-heartedly and whose support he was always thankful for. He also leaves behind his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who will remember him for his humor and generosity.
John was able to connect with anyone and never failed to make people laugh. His ability to connect extended to animals thanks to his kids, he loved his two crazy cats Bonnie and Clyde as well as all the family's pets. He was endlessly curious and loved discovering new places and learning about new gadgets. He always wanted to be up to date with the current news and the newest technology. He was very proud to be part of the NDG community and would always talk about his fond memories playing hockey in the alleyways and the parks with his brother and their friends.
There will be an intimate viewing for family and close friends at Actuel Funeral Complex, Verdun, on Wednesday October 30th from 3 to 7pm.
A celebration of John’s life will take place on Sunday, November 3rd, at Unity Center of Montreal from 5 to 7pm. Friends and family are encouraged to share their stories and memories. Come as you are. Refreshments will be provided.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Old Brewery Mission in John’s memory (click here). Donations will also be accepted in person at the celebration of life for AA.
