It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Peter Mulroney, who departed peacefully on July 15, 2025, at Maison Sault-Saint-Louis soins palliatifs in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. John was 69 years old, born on July 28, 1955.

​John was a simple man who found joy in life's quiet moments. He loved listening to CHOM 97.7 FM and enjoyed a few favorite television shows. Despite battling schizophrenia for most of his life, John faced every challenge head-on, always living for his children, whom he often referred to as his greatest accomplishment. Some of his fondest memories were spent with them, whether it was taking them to the pool or to Blockbuster to rent movies.

​He will be deeply missed by his loving children, daughter Colleen (Jim) and son Mike. John's small but cherished circle also included his best friend Denis, his dedicated community worker Rachel, and his compassionate volunteer John.

​The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Maison Sault-Saint-Louis soins palliatifs for providing John with dignity, compassion, kindness, and love in his final week, ensuring his last days were comfortable.

​In accordance with John's wishes, there will be no funeral or service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maison Sault-Saint-Louis soins palliatifs, whose exceptional care made a profound difference in his final journey.
