My dear friend Dina, When god threw you into my life , he gave us both a well needed friendship. He gave us a relationship where we taught and learned from each other. You taught me to be hard and I taught you to be soft. You taught me about the importance of alone time and I taught you the importance of being out with friends. You taught me to say no, I taught you to say yes You taught me to stand up for myself and I taught you to stand down sometimes. You taught me the importance of communication , I taught you to close the windows when I lacked that skill. You taught me that friends can become family. I taught you that you might regret that . You taught me to learn from the past. I taught you to try and let it go You taught me about hate, I taught you about love We taught each other about middle ground. We taught each other about our self worth and importance . We taught each other about friendship, its ups and downs , its challenges and how none of it matters in the end . True friendships always prosper. True friends never hold grudges , true friends are always there for each other, true friends understand each other’s moods, true friends give each other space and invade space when needed . True friends borrow and lend. True friends forgive. True friends stand by each other in their hardest moments. I was lucky to have a true friend like you. A true friend who shared her faith with me. A true friend who I will continue to speak of and look for signs from . A true friend that I will miss so very much.
