Patricia Millar

1944-2024
Mary Helen Patricia (Pat) Millar (Wilkinson)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patricia on April 3rd 2024, in her 79th year, at the Anna Laberge Hospital in Chateauguay, Quebec. Devoted mother of Sean Wilkinson. She will be missed by her two sisters Carol (late Henry (Hank) Lapointe) and Marilyn (late Aurèle Gagné), many cousins, nieces, nephews, her devoted friend Margaret (Peggy) Harwood, and many other friends. Patricia is predeceased by her daughter, Colleen Wilkinson (2010), her husband John Wilkinson (2017), her parents George Millar and Mary Noonan & her sisters Dolores Millar (Lancaster) & Maureen Millar (Allan).

Arrangements are under the care of Actuel Funeral-Service Verdun. As per Patricia’s wishes cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation. Rite of committal will take place at a later date at Christ-Roi Cemetery.

Patricia was an avid volunteer with the Chateauguay Little League Baseball for many years, ensuring any child wishing to play had the means to do so. If so desired, donations may be made in her memory to the Chateauguay Food Bank (click here), 830 Ford #418 Chateauguay, Que J6J 4Z2

We would like to thank the staff of Mary-Elizabeth Noonan residence for their compassionate care over the last few years.

The passing of a mother is the toughest to bare. The lose of a mother can bring even the strongest of men to their knees with eyes filled with tears. Over the years, mothers love can be a soft gentle love, a severe, 'hard-love', or a silent guiding love. That love is never lost, even after her passing. Her love and words of wisdom will always live on, such as, "don't touch, its hot !!". Silent life lessons of love, meant for you to carry on, long after she leaves. The hard part is to carry on, but, in her honor we must find the strength , and even the courage to carry on. Finding the strength each day to go on, keeps her alive in all of us who have lost our 'moms'. Day by day, step by step......... baby steps at times, but worry not, she is always with us.
