We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Richard Thomas Der (Lee).

Richard took his last breath on November 22nd 2023 at Lachine hospital, surrounded by his family.

Born on November 28th 1950, Rick was a jack of all trades. From taxis to tools, he was a lover of cars and fashion. He loved and watched over all his siblings, treasured his nieces, nephews and his one and only child Christopher. He was known as the ‘’go to’’ brother, uncle, dad and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Richard is predeceased by his father (Thick Ming Der) and mother (Joan Ruth Pantling) , along with his great nephew Khalil Gabriel.

He is survived by his siblings Brian (Lynn), Kenny (Denise) and Barbara, his son Christopher (Marie), 7 Nephews, 2 nieces, 8 great nephews, 6 great nieces and 2 great great nephews.

A celebration of life will happen on December 18th at Actuel Service Funéraire.

C'est avec grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de notre bien-aimé Richard Thomas Der (Lee).

Richard s'est éteint le 22 novembre 2023 à l'Hôpital de Lachine entouré de sa famille.

Il était un amoureux des voitures et de la mode. Il aimait et veillait sur tous ses frères et soeurs, chérissait ses nièces et ses neveux ainsi que son unique enfant Christopher. Il était connu comme le frère, l'oncle, le père et l'ami de référence. Il manquera grandement à tous ceux qui l'on connu et aimé.

Richard repose maintenant auprès de son père (Thick Ming Der) et sa mère (Joan Ruth Pantling), ainsi que de son petit-neveu Khalil Gabriel.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses frères et soeurs Brian (Lynn), Kenny (Denise) et Barbara, son fils Christopher (Marie), 7 neveux, 2 nièces, 8 petits-neveux, 6 petites-nièces et 2 arrières-arrières-neveux.

Une célébration de sa vie se tiendra le 18 décembre de 13h à 19h au Salon funéraire Actuel.
