Horaires
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander Ranetkins, who left us on Wednesday, February 18th 2026, at the age of 50. Born and raised in Montreal, Alexander was known for his vibrant spirit, artistic soul, and infectious sense of humour.
With a true eye of beauty, Alexander found joy in life's simple moments - the quiet of nature, the rhythm of music, and the creative freedom of art. His passion for drawing and poetry reflected the depth of his heart and the ways he saw the world: full of color, laughter, and meaning.
He leaves behind his children, Anyssa Ranetkins and Aiden Viens, and his brother Dean Ranetkins. He will be lovingly remembered by his extended family, Cedric Martin-Brown, Elsa Martin-Brown and Jennifer Viens - as well as many friends who had the pleasure of experiencing his warmth and kindness.
Alexander's legacy will live on through his memory, his art, his laughter, and the love he shared so deeply. His presence will be deeply missed but forever felt in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026, from 12:00PM to 4:00PM at 2050 Grenet Street, Saint-Laurent, QC, H4K 4Y9 (CentreVie Community Center) to honour and remember him.
