It is with heavy heart and great sorrow that we confirm that our beloved mother Phyllis Cartwright passed away February 1st, 2026 at the Montreal General Hospital at the age of 76 surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 5, 1949 in Montreal, she was the daughter of late Bernard Cartwright and Gwennyth Langevin. She was predeceased by her brother Kenny. Phyllis was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother known for her warmth, strength and generosity. A force of nature she was the heart of our family offering unconditional love, guidance and comfort touching our lives in immeasurable ways.
She is survived by her husband Denis, her twin sister Patricia, her brother John (Lorna), her loving sons Patrick (Kim) and Richard (Tina), her 6 grandchildren Dawson (Sabrina), Bryana (Ion), Logan, Thea, Hailey, Ashleah and great granddaughter Scarlett.
Though the pain of parting may be great, the love we shared will forever remain in our hearts
A celebration of life will be held on February 18th 2026, from 1pm to 3pm at Services Funéraires Actuel address 4500 Rue de Verdun, Verdun, QC, H4G 1M3.
